Decorated Easter eggs lend themselves to every kind of band and pattern. This one stacks sky blue, sugar pink and buttercup yellow, with a chequered band and a row of dots.
The chart is 12 stitches by 16 rows in four colours. Each band is worked almost in a single shade, which makes it a good intermediate exercise before more detailed motifs.
Make half a dozen in different colour orders and hang them from a bunch of branches for the Easter table. The same bands are easy to adapt to your own colours.
