Tall and narrow, the Eiffel Tower has exactly the shape of a bookmark. Our chart draws its silhouette in hazel brown on a pale blue sky, from the tip to the four legs, with both platforms clearly visible.
Only two colours, 13 stitches by 19 rows: it is an excellent pattern for learning to read a chart from the bottom up. The legs of the tower cross diagonally, and each row moves the brown by just one stitch.
Add a few rows of sky above and a tassel at the top for a bookmark to slip into a Paris guidebook.
